Wow!! Has it been a whole pandemic ago? (It’s NOT over? Got it, SCIENCE!! )
I went ahead and started a list of shows so you can catch up, so here’s a list of AWESOME shows you should be checking out:

Best on the tube (currently)

Kid Cosmic and the Rings of Power!!

Craig McCracken (Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary friends…) brings ANOTHER Great Super hero story set in the middle of nowhere, (where all alien stuff happens) when an enthusiastic young man with a hyperdrive imagination finds FIVE COSMIC STONES of POWER!! Lots of fun, with some nice family insights thrown in…

Rick and Morty (latest season)

I know, they’ve been around for awhile, but they are getting into some really cool …. stuff… this season. WARNING!!! NOT A FAMILY SHOW [just my opinion].

Marvel’s What If…?

It’s been a trope for comics for a while, it used to be called ‘imaginary stories’ (um, aren’t they all…?). Then Marvel put out a title called What If?, and featured a story where Spidey decided to join the Fantastic Four. In this Animated series, so far they’ve explored a new Captain America, a DIFFERENT Star Lord, and Marvel-type Zombies.

Invincible

Robert Kirkman (Walking Dead) has adapted ANOTHER of his title from Image comics to the small (but getting bigger) screen.
If you’re a fan of the comics, don’t worry, it’s different enough to keep you watching, and if you haven’t read the comics, Prime will allow you to read the first issues free on Kindle.

Sweet Tooth

Jeff Lemire’s book from DC has been adapted quite well, with some necessary differences, due to the media used. It’s a very interesting end-of-the-world scenario, and deals with some very current topics in a very entertaining manner. Robert Downey Jr. and his wife produce this.

Jupiter’s Legacy

Based on Jupiter’s Legacy-by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely this show (really a prequel to the comic) this story looks at the problems faced by families of generational supers. Talk about your super generation gap!! I liked the comic better, but it IS a bit more gritty, and it could easily see a second season.

Star Trek Lower Decks!

Sporting obscure references for the longtime fans, and smart enough for any newer fans to appreciate, this is the SECOND animated Star Trek series, but a funny one. I feel it paved the way for an upcoming animated Star Trek: Prodogy series coming out from Nickelodeon.

Stargirl

I have watched ALL the CW DC shows, and this is the best adapted show, HANDS DOWN!!
It tells the story of generational heroes, and pays homage to some of the oldest comic book characters you’ve never heard of. (But if you HAVE, you will REALLY love this show!!) Great cast as well.

Doom Patrol

Saving the best for last, and I mean the BEST!! This show is based on the Grant Morrison run of the comic, and it is, IMHO, the best television show ever made. Originally on the DC network now, I believe now on Hulu, watch this show and be ready for the new season about to be released. I insist.
