I haven’t done a comic book review in ages and honestly, I’m glad I’m breaking this hiatus with this one. Rat Queens is  a title that consistently delivers and this weeks release is no exception following last months tale the girls are down a queen, yet in this issue they  still manage to get shit done.
It’s actually a familiar tale boy, or this case woman returns home and shit is not the same the world, it has turned beneath their feet and without them.

Its a great romp trough a world filled with table top RPG tropes and I love it. This book has a soft spot in my heart as it always reminds of the friends I’ve made thanks to the local Pathfinder Society scene here in Florida.

The art in the book is fantastically drawn and vibrantly colored and doesn’t shy away from the grit and humor that is the world our Rat Queens inhabit.

The earlier titles cane be found in trade so if you want to start there please do, in fact you owe it to yourself too. Otherwise this issue marks the start of a new story arc and is a great place to start your adventures with the girls.

I cannot say enough glowing things about this book but as always I try to avoid spoilers and urge you to pick the book up for yourself and see what has made me excited about this most excellent and amazing title.
